Under an IDIQ Contract, GES key personnel provided the renovation of architectural, interior, and MEP & FP systems on several projects including: new ventilation system for Room B-38A, Credit Union renovation, Durability and Paper Labs HVAC renovation and new HVAC system for Room 32A.

As part of a comprehensive design team, GES has been tasked by FEMS to provide MEP & FP for engineering design and construction administration services. Responsibilities include preparing complete plans, specifications and estimates required for the construction of various projects. Task have included the renovation of Engine Company Number 16 and design review of Engine Company 23.

Under an IDIQ Contract, GES key personnel provided the renovation of the interior and MEP & FP systems for a variety of facilities.

Under an existing IDIQ Contract and as part of a comprehensive design team with KCI Technologies, Global Engineering Solutions is providing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and life safety engineering design and construction administration to the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning Commission (MNCPPC). Task orders have included the Meadowbrook Stables and Wheaton Park Stables.

GES provided on-site program management, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm and life safety engineering services at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. Task orders have included planning, programming, life cycle costing and design of advanced technology research labs pursuant to the exploration of deep space and the solar system. GES worked closely with NASA’s program managers and scientists to coordinate all engineering design work with the functional requirements of the lab research equipment installation as well as with NASA’s facilities engineers to ensure availability of campus underground utility distribution systems.

GES has served as a subcontractor and currently is serving as a prime contractor to support various facilities, including laboratories, vivarium, health care, and other support facilities. GES has provided both A/E design and construction quality management.

GES is serving as the prime contractor providing A/E services for the evaluation, renovation, modification, replacement, and upgrade of laboratory and administrative facilities. Task orders include electrical design renovation for a high-rise administrative building, back up generators replacement, installation of water detection system, installation of campus wide solar panel system, HVAC improvements to network cooling closets, and data center study.

GES is serving as a prime contractor providing project management, MEP & FP services for the evaluation, renovation, modification, replacement, and upgrade of laboratories, industrial warehouses, and office facilities. Task orders have included the replacement of air handling units at a nanoscience building, correction of condensation leaks, replacement of condenser water piping, and renovation of HVAC systems.

As part of a comprehensive design team, GES is provided MEP & FP engineering design and construction administration services to the State Highway Administration. Responsibilities include preparing complete plans, specifications and estimates required for the construction of various projects. Tasks included the renovation of the following facilities: Princess Anne Maintenance Facility; Golden Ring Maintenance Facility; Salisbury Maintenance Facility; Keyser's Ridge Maintenance Facility.

GES is serving as the prime contractor on an indefinite quantity contract to provide engineering/architectural services to support major facility renovation projects, repair and maintenance, alteration and/or new construction projects for research laboratory facilities and area support facilities in the Maryland and Washington, DC area.

GES personnel managed over $5 million worth of construction over a 3 month period and 500,000 sf of space. Project consisted of emergency asbestos abatement, restoration of mechanical and electrical systems, interior renovations and construction of a temporary and permanent roof.

Under a prime IDIQ contract, GES provided construction management services to installations throughout the Baltimore District. Services included scheduling, cost estimating, design and constructability reviews, quality assurance, value engineering, on-site project management, and inspection services.

As part of a comprehensive design team, GES has been tasked by Maryland Department of General Services to perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection design review services for renovation and new construction of schools throughout the state. All reviews were performed in strict adherence to the MD DGS Procedure Manual for Professional Services. To date over 15 schools have been reviewed.

GES is the prime contractor on a contract to provide MEP & FP engineering design and construction administration services. Responsibilities include preparing complete plans, specifications and estimates required for the construction of various projects.

GES provided design review of all mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the new ATF Fire Research Laboratory. The ATF Fire Research Laboratory is the world's first and only laboratory devoted to forensic fire research. The Fire Research Laboratory will provide the necessary facilities, equipment, and staff to work on fire-investigation issues that include fire-scene-reconstruction, flashover studies, validation of fire-pattern analysis indicators, impact of accelerants on fire growth and spread, ignition studies, and electrical fire cause analysis.

GES key personnel provided project management and design services for a new 3,300,000 sf, $850,000,000 construction that includes mechanical systems design of spaces such as offices, conference rooms, exhibits, public spaces, retail shops, restaurants, theater, parking garages, and storage rooms.
