Building Information Modeling (BIM) / REVIT
GES has actively embraced the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) via the latest version of the REVIT MEP platform. Having made the strategic decision to transition to BIM, we have implemented an ongoing educational program to continue to enhance our staff's expertise utilizing BIM. We believe that the use of BIM technology provides a better understanding of a building, its systems, and its relationship to the environment before construction begins. This increased level of knowledge allows us to design more coordinated systems.
Facilities designed utilizing BIM give the owner and users far better life cycle performance when GES' engineers and the design team share a 3D building information model to support each others' analyses in a consistent and understandable manner.
