The Entertainment and Sports Arena, a new LEED Silver,91,600 sf, 4,200-seat facility, is a multipurpose entertainment, sports, and cultural complex. Constructed on 4 acres of the historic St. Elizabeths East Campus, it serves as a practice/training facility for the Washington Wizards basketball team, an arena for the Washington Mystics and Washington GO- GO basketball team, and an entertainment/concert venue for community based events. GES was the Commissioning Agent for the project to provide services needed to achieve Enhanced Commissioning under LEED v4.
