GES provided MEP & FP engineering for the renovation of Capitol View Library. To achieve LEED Gold certification the mechanical and electrical systems were completely upgraded. The new mechanical system has a new chiller, cooling tower, condensing boilers, pumps, unit heaters, exhaust fans and automated building control system. The electrical system was replaced with a new 1200A, 120/208V, 3 phase, 4 wire system including new distribution panels and equipment. A new LED lighting system was installed throughout the building to meet current energy codes and LEED requirements, and the system will include lighting controls, occupancy sensors and daylight sensors.
