Under an existing IDIQ Contract, GES provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm and life safety engineering design and construction administration services to the State Highway Administration.
GES’ responsibilities included preparing complete plans, specifications and estimates required for the construction of various projects. Upon completion of this design, GES was also responsible for conducting a pre-bid conference, performing shop drawing reviews, responding to request for information (RFI), site inspections/surveys, completing punch lists and preparing as-built drawings. In addition, the team was responsible for studies, life cycle cost analysis, the preparation of reports and assessments, and performing necessary code analysis, thorough field surveys and project management. Representative projects worked under this contract include:
Golden Ring Maintenance Facility – Performed MEP assessment and code analysis for existing deficiencies, resulting in the design of new mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection systems for the entire facility. Estimated Construction Cost: $1,000,000
