As a result of structural damage caused from a winter storm, the existing 11,000sf Bailey’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Station was demolished and a new Fairfax County owned fire station was constructed. GES provided the MEP & FP engineering services for the new 16,000sf fire station, which includes an area for the Bailey’s Crossroads Fire Station volunteers and four apparatus bays with associated living spaces and vehicle parking.
