New International High School

GES is providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering services for the design of a 68,400 sf educational campus for newly arrived immigrant students requiring English as a Second Language Services.  In addition, the school will help relieve overcrowding at nearby schools.  Once complete the project will provide space for academic classrooms, science labs, physical education, a media commons, student dining and food service, a health suite and administrative areas. Kramer Middle School

Global Engineering Solutions (GES) provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for the renovation of the 154,000 sf middle school to transform the school into a 21st  century high performance educational facility. The school has recently achieved LEED Platinum. Hench & Younger Student Apartments

Capitol View Library

GES provided MEP & FP engineering for the renovation of Capitol View Library. To achieve LEED Gold certification the mechanical and electrical systems were completely upgraded. The new mechanical system has a new chiller, cooling tower, condensing boilers, pumps, unit heaters, exhaust fans and automated building control system. The electrical system was replaced with a new 1200A, 120/208V, 3 phase, 4 wire system including new distribution panels and equipment. GES provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services for the modification and replacement of the outbound baggage handling system for American Airlines. The project included engineering support for the new baggage handling systems; relocation of the tug charging stations, the TSA screening station, and the airline storage cage; and modification of exhaust air ducts, conduits, pipes, and the hot water/chilled water pipes in the Center Pier bag room.
