GES provided the engineering design and CA services to replace the entire fire alarm system for this mixed use, dormitory, commercial and retail facility. The building is comprised of commercial spaces, administrative functions including student counseling center, restaurants, deli, a dormitory with a total of nearly 400 beds and suites for Resident Life staff. GES provided construction quality control management services for a new CVIF to inspect and process arriving delivery vehicles prior to allowing access to the NIH campus. GES provided MEP & FP engineering design and post design services for a new 22,000 sf, LEED Silver recreation center and renovation of the existing pool house. The new $16 M facility includes a gymnasium, multi-purpose rooms, classrooms, computer lab, lockers/showers for the pool, fitness rooms, commercial grade kitchen and senior lounge.
